Last Week, In Review

Here it is Monday, again. I'm finding my weekends full of my family and pets, with very little time for me. I wrote a whole 347 words for NaNo and 9399 words for challenge. I submitted two more short works of fiction, making my total awaiting response: four. Though I am making progress on the "Pandora" project. Here's hoping you all have a great week of writing, keep those pens going and those fingers typing.

Last Week, In Review

The first week of challenging myself to write 500-1000 words a day, did not go as well as I had hoped. A total of 7918 words of fiction were writen by me. Many thousands of words of non-fiction as well. But non-fiction doesn't count. You may think that I did over a 1000 words a day, but there were actually three days I didn't write at all.
Yesterday was the kick off of NaNoWriMo 2009! And I didn't write a word for that either.
Here's hoping that this week is better and different. To any and all who are doing NaNo and/or daily word challenges- best of luck and keep at it.

I'm a glutton for punishment!

So I signed up for NaNoWriMo this afternoon and then I stumbled upon InkyGirls "1000 words a day challenge" and have taken THAT upon myself too. I'm planning on using NaNo for a new novel, and the 1000 word challenge for my short stories. That way I can get plenty of fresh material to sink my teeth into for later works (and help me clean out my to-do list in the meantime.)

Anyone else going to do both?
